My valjoux based navitimer makes all kinds of noise. Runs at chonometer spec though.I can feel the movement vibrate and make a buzzing noise with each turn which I think is normal. The chronograph start pusher is also very difficult to activate but only from zero. Is this normal?the world\'s watch information resource. The rotor is moving and causing the initial noise and vibration, but as the rotor stops there is also the noise and vibration from the transaltion of the rotor movement into the . Moving parts should be expected to make some sort of noise, especially a watches self winding rotor. If you're talking about when you're wearing your watch and moving normally, the "rattling sound" could simply be the rotor doing its job. Is is usual to hear the rotor on watches with the B01 based movements? Many thanks! James

It could be a loose rotor. They make a real noise by scraping against the case back, etc, when they get loose. Very simple to fix. However, it may be that. It could equally likely be something else.
